The youth camp and exchange (YCE) chairperson and camp leaders accept responsibility to provide an enjoyable and safe experience for participants.

Chairperson Responsibilities
Lions YCE chairperson responsibilities are to (click the links for further information):

• help promote the YCE program.
• help the sponsor Lions club select participants and help the host Lions club select host families.
• communicate with other district/multiple district YCE chairpersons to faciliate exchanges and camp placements.
• help organize sponsored participants' travel arrangements and host club arrangements for host family and other events during exchange.
• help provide cultural and program orientation to sponsored participants and host families.
• help organize camp accommodations and activities with the camp leaders.
• ensure local laws and customs are followed regarding youth protection.
