Leo Club Program awards for Lions

Leo Extension Award Certificate and Leo Club Sponsor Banner Patch
Upon receipt of a signed Leo Club Organization Report (Leo-51), International Headquarters issues a Leo Club Sponsor Banner Patch (to the sponsoring Lions club) and Leo Extension Award Certificates to both the president of the sponsoring Lions club and the Leo club advisor. The sponsoring Lions club can request additional certificates for persons who assisted in organizing the new Leo club from the Youth Programs Department at International Headquarters.

Leo Club Advisor Outstanding Service Award
Leo club advisors who meet specific criteria (see Leo-102a) may be awarded a certificate by the sponsoring Lions club president. This award recognizes advisors who have demonstrated outstanding service in guiding and developing their Leo clubs.

Leo Club Advisor Five-Year Service Lapel Pin and Certificate of Recognition
Sponsoring Lions club presidents can apply for this award for their Leo club advisors who have provided five years of dedicated service to their Leo club. Requirements for the award appear on the award application form.  View the list of winners.

Leo Club Extension Award
The Leo extension awards recognize Lions and Leos who contribute to the organization of new Leo clubs in their district or multiple district (achieving a net gain of at least three or five new Leo clubs respectively in their district by June 30). View the list of current winning districts and multiple districts. 

Top Ten Leo Club Extension Lapel Pin
Lions and Leos of the ten districts with the hightest net growth of new Leo clubs during a fiscal year receive a gold lapel pin. View the list of the current Top Ten Leo districts for the fiscal year and their multiple districts who supported the Leo club extension efforts of a Top Ten District.                        

Leo Club Chairperson Achievement Award
Officially appointed district and multiple district Leo club chairpersons who meet specific criteria (see Leo-103a) may be awarded a certificate.

Leo Lion Serving Together Award
Patches for the Leo club and its Lions club sponsor will be presented for successful completion of joint projects. Applications can be submitted to the Youth Programs Department. Requirements for the award appear on the application form.
