Help Get Public Service Announcements (PSAs) on the Air
Raise awareness in your community about the important services that Lions clubs offer by encouraging your local media outlets to air public service announcements. These three steps will assist in your efforts.

• CONTACT your local television and radio stations. Ask to speak to the public service director or the director of community affairs. (At a smaller television station, ask for the general manager; or the program director or station manager at a smaller radio station.) Inform the contact that you are a member of the local Lions club and would like the station to consider playing a PSA, which can either be downloaded from below or sent directly to the station on a CD (radio) or DVD (TV).
• PROVIDE PSAs to your contact by sending an e-mail with a direct link to this PSA page; or contact the Public Relations Department at International Headquarters at pr@lionsclubs.org or (630) 468-6739, and request that a CD or DVD be sent to the station (include station address and contact name).
• FOLLOW UP with contacts who run your PSA by sending a note of appreciation. They will remember your gratitude the next time you contact them.

Television PSAs
New - "Get In Step with Your Community" a 30 second television PSA on volunteerism is available. A second format is offered with the script to allow Lions clubs to localize the narrator and insert Lions club contact information. View and access Lions television PSAs (requires Window Media Player) on the Lions News Network (LNN). PSAs are available to television stations to download for broadcast use only in MPEG-2 format .

Radio PSAs
New - "Get In Step with Your Community" a 30 second radio PSA on volunteerism is available. To download, right click on the desired track and select "Save Target As."

Below is the complete track listing from the Compact Disc PSA distributed through International Headquarters. Clubs are encouraged to download any or all sound files and burn their own CD. To download, right click on the desired track and select "Save Target As." Note: Depending on your operating system, you may have to complete additional steps to save the file.

Each track contains a duplicate track, which may be localized by participating radio stations. When distributing localizable tracks, provide station with appropriate contact information for your club or direct them to the association web site, www.lionsclubs.org.
