Many clubs shared their best methods for membership development with Lions worldwide. Two consecutive years the contest was run. We looked for the best, brightest ideas for inviting/recruiting, involving or retaining members. Ideas ranged from perfected reliable methods to bold, groundbreaking new ideas. View the contest results below for an idea that may work for your club.

2005-06 Results - Again this year, over 100 entries were received from Lions worldwide. The booklet Best Practices for Inviting New Members 2005-06 highlights the winning ideas for inviting and retaining members.

2004-05 Results - During this year more than 100 clubs worldwide responded to the challenge and submitted entries into the contest. View the booklet,  Best Practices for Inviting New Members 2004-05, for wining membership invitation methods.

Please note: The Best Practice Contest ran during the years 2004-2006 and is not a current contest. Proven ideas and methods acquired in this contest are available for sharing between Lions clubs.
