The Catania Riviera Dello Ionio New Century Lions Club is the first of its kind to Europe. Made up of 35 members, these New Centry Lions created a club of young people to give new energy to the Lionistic movement. This club carries out various social initiatives including helping the children of Pio IX Institute. They also held a music contest in honor of Paolo Randazzo, a dear friend of the club whose objective is to aid young talented musicians. |

Past Club President Serhan Sencayir of the Bursa Karagoz New Century Lions Club received the "Club of the Year in Europe" award from Past International President Judge Brian Stevenson of Canada and Lion Jacqui Nathan of England at the 2005 International Academy Awards in Hong Kong. Club members are former Leos, friends, young parents, professionals and co-workers. They are active in Multiple District 105 projects and other district activities. Some of their projects include providing aid to orphans in Romania and donating funds to aid stroke victims and Guide Dogs for the Blind program. They were PROUD to host the 2006 District 105EA convention March 17-19 in Capdock, Ipswich in the County of Suffolk, England.

Jakarta Kota Raya New Century Lions Club District 307 A, Indonesia Chartered: March 2004 E-mail: shuling@centrin.net.id Club members are a compassionate group of friends whose primary activity is working with street children in Indonesia. They were chosen by the United Nations Volunteers to join a campaign supported and initiated by the United Nations to help children of homeless urban families avoid becoming street children. They received the prestigious "Club of the Year" award in Constitutional Area VII at the 2005 International Academy Awards in Hong Kong.
