The Lions Mission Statement is:

International relations chairperson responsibilities
- Maintain contact with other multiple district/district chairpersons. To obtain the chairperson's directory, click here.
- Help establish twinning relationships with clubs in other countries.
- Encourage Lions to visit other clubs when traveling to other countries.
- Handle (in consultation with the district governor) requests for international medical assistance.
- Encourage participation in Lions Day with the United Nations and World Peace Day.
- Encourage activities such as an international stamp exhibit, an international art exhibit, or the Lions international peace poster contest.
- Work with youth exchange chairpersons concerning the Lions international youth exchange and youth camp program or other Lions-sponsored international youth programs.
