The 90th International Convention will be held July 2-6, 2007 in Chicago, Illinois. The “Birthplace of Lionism.” The Convention Center on Navy Pier – an entertainment center within itself featuring a 150 foot high Ferris Wheel, arcades, dining opportunities, Imax Theater, and Children’s Museum – will serve as the convention services center.
The Lions of Illinois are busy planning to host the Lions of the world and are looking forward to your visit to Multiple District 1 as we celebrate 90 years of Lions serving others in need.
We invite all Lions, Lioness, Leos and their families to join us in this celebration! Plan on coming early or staying after the convention. Come enjoy our famous “Taste of Chicago” which takes place during convention week. Visit one of the many museums. Stroll along the miles of Lake Michigan or shop the Magnificent Mile and State Street That Great Street. There’s plenty for the entire family. Perhaps this will be your first opportunity for a visit to Lions Clubs International Headquarters in Oak Brook.
See you in Chicago 2007!
