How invigorating to watch the work of other Lions around the world through the LQ video. There is dedicated work going on in our area that touches the hearts of many. I, in particularly, want to commend the Moody Lions Club in their work with the handicapped through the creation and maintenance of the Lions Miracle League Field. Ages 5 to 75 handicapped kids & adults come together to play baseball on a specially constructed field. Seeing them & their angel helpers hit a ball & run the bases always being winners with the biggest expressions of happiness at their accomplishments is so heart-warming. This is something that they & their family & friends will always cherish. At the end of the season, they all gather at a local pond that has been stocked with fish so they can delight in catching one or more. They then partake in a picnic-like atmosphere for some good southern eating. Congratulations to a loving, caring group of people...the Moody Lions Club of Moody, Alabama!
