Beverly L Stebbins
Beverly Stebbins, from Arlington, Texas, USA, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 91st International Convention, held in Bangkok, Thailand, June 23-27, 2008.
Director Stebbins is a retired teacher.
A member of the Arlington Texas Lions Club and a Lion since 1992, Director Stebbins has held many offices within the association, including club president, zone chairperson, region chairperson, vice district governor and district governor. She has also served as a presenter at the Texas Lions Leadership Forum and as a moderator at last year’s USA/Canada Forum.
In recognition of her service to the association, Director Stebbins has received numerous awards, including a Multiple District Lion of the Year award, the 100% District Governor Award, two International Leadership Medals, two International President’s Awards and an Ambassador of Good Will Award. She is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to her Lions activities, Director Stebbins has been active in numerous professional and community organizations.
Director Stebbins and her husband, Edward, also a Lion and Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, have two children and four grandchildren
