Kee-Jung Woo
Kee-Jung Woo of Kyung San, Republic of Korea, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 87th International Convention, held in Detroit, Michigan, USA/Windsor, Ontario, Canada, July 5-9, 2004.
Past Director Woo is in the magnet business and is a manager of golf clubs and resorts in Korea and China.
A Lion since 1959, Past Director Woo is a member of the Taegu North Lions Club and has held many offices within the association, including club president, region chair, zone chair, district vice governor and district governor. Additionally he has served as the multiple district youth exchange committee chair, multiple district cooperation committee chair and multiple district state council of governors adviser.
In recognition of his service to the association he has received numerous awards, including the 100% Club President’s Award, the International President’s Leadership Medal, International President’s 25 Year Monarch Chevron, International President’s Medal and the International President’s Certificate of Appreciation. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
Past Director Woo and his wife, Sim, have three children.
