Ermanno Bocchini
Ermanno Bocchini from Napoli, Italy, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 90th International Convention, held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, July 2-6, 2007.
Director Bocchini is a university professor and lawyer.
A member of the Napoli Maschio Angioino Lions Club since 1977, Director Bocchini has held many offices within the association, including club president, district governor and district LCIF coordinator.
In recognition of his service to the association, Director Bocchini has received numerous awards, including an Extension Award, a District Governor’s Appreciation Award, the District Governor’s Excellence Award and the Paradigm Medal. He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Bocchini is active in numerous professional and community organizations. He was also conferred with the official title of Commendatore by decree of the president of Italy.
Director Bocchini and his wife, Sofia, have two children and two grandchildren.
