Lions have worked with many international and local organizations in the time of disaster. These organizations may be able to assist with funding and other resources. Note this list is informational only for Lions who wish to contact other organizations for possible additional assistance. These organizations are not funded by LCIF, and LCIF cannot guarantee their support.

International Organizations
International Committee of the Red Cross Helps prepare communities worldwide for emergencies and keep people safe. Red Cross and Red Crescent Society have local chapters around the world.
Oxfam International A group of non-governmental organizations from three continents that provides short-term emergency relief.
Salvation Army International Provides support, training and resources to respond to the needs of those affected by emergencies.
UNICEF Responds to emergencies worldwide, both natural and man-made.
United Way International Provides resources to local United Ways around the world facing local, regional, state or national emergencies.
World Vision International Identifies at-risk locations, pre-position resources and personnel in high-risk zones, and build capacity and resilience among communities to help them protect themselves and rebuild.
National Organizations
FEMA Agency of the U.S. government tasked with Disaster Mitigation, Preparedness, Response and Recovery planning.
National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) Cooperation, communication, coordination and collaboration in U.S. disaster response.
Sphere India A coalition and collaborative partnership, between government and non-governmental agencies involved in humanitarian initiatives in India.
