Approximately 9,000 Lions from 100 countries marched through the streets of Detroit, Michigan, USA this morning in the spectacular Parade of Nations.

This afternoon, the Lions International Performance Festival takes place. It is a festival of dance and song celebrating the diverse cultures of the association's members from around the world.

Teenage convention registrants enjoy a fun night as they dance the night away at the Connecticut Teenage Dance sponsored by the Connecticut Lions. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the dance. It is a fun evening and an opportunity for teens from around the world to meet.
