Wednesday,
July 7
The opening plenary session takes place today, where I will
give my farewell address. It is hard to believe that my year
as president is coming to a close. I have enjoyed the opportunity
to serve as your president and the good fortune to meet Lions,
Lionesses and Leos all over the globe. Together, we have continued
to increase Lions Clubs International's prestige as the largest
service club organization in the world, and for the world.
This afternoon there are a host of seminars being held, providing
attendees with skills and information for enhancing their
clubs and their service to the community. Within the Cobo
Conference & Exhibition Center are also numerous booths,
and I encourage attendees to take full advantage of the various
services they have to offer.
Don't miss out on tonight's entertainment, the Georgia Jamboree,
which is guaranteed to delight all in attendance.
Sincerely,

Dr. Tae-Sup Lee
International President
