Monday President’s Message

Welcome to the first day of our convention! Be sure to visit the many cultural and artistic wonders of Bangkok, and to explore the beauty of this fine city.

A number of exciting programs are available today. Many Lions will lace up their sneakers and head to the third annual Convention STRIDES Walk to help promote diabetes awareness, and Leos can attend the opening session of the Global Leo Conference.

I encourage all in attendance to visit the numerous informational and specialty booths within the IMPACT convention center. Be sure to stop at the LCI/LCIF Headquarters booth to meet staff representatives and to learn how they can help you better serve your local communities. Also, be sure to check out this year’s winning Peace Posters, which are on display.

This week is filled with numerous seminars and events. I encourage you to continue visiting the Online Convention for updated information and photos of the daily activities and for available seminar materials. Finally, all attendees should prepare themselves for tomorrow’s eighth annual Performance Festival, which promises to be an entertaining treat.
