The United States (US) Agency for International Development (USAID) enables registered organizations to obtain excess US government property and to apply for various USAID grants.

Lions Clubs International is registered with USAID as a Private and Voluntary Organization (PVO). This enables Lions clubs to determine if they qualify to obtain a variety of surplus USAID items.
