Presentation of the 2012 Lions Humanitarian Award to Deng Pufang and the China Disabled Persons' Federation Performing Art Troupe, including a US$250,000 grant from Lions Clubs International Foundation for continuing humanitarian activities. Previous recipients include former U. S. President Jimmy Carter and Mother Teresa.
Wayne A. Madden of Auburn, Indiana, USA takes the oath of office as the 2012-13 International President of Lions Clubs International.
Newly elected International President Madden delivers his inaugural address to attendees, presenting his International Theme "In A World of Service."
Lions look forward to visiting Hamburg, Germany site of the 2013 Lions International Convention, July 5-9.
