Dear Lions, Leos and friends,
It’s that time of year again when we welcome Lions from across the world to participate in our annual convention. The Online Convention keeps those at our 94th annual International Convention in Seattle, Washington, USA and Lions at home updated with photos, contest results and breaking news items from July 4 through 8.
There are a number of new additions to this year’s convention. If you have a BlackBerry, iPhone or Android, you can download the convention mobile App by searching “LCI 2011” so you won’t miss a thing. Convention will also feature seminars highlighting the basics of Twitter and Facebook. If you can’t make it to convention, you can download a guide or watch an instructional video about Twitter or Facebook. These are great ways to share your signature service projects.
As Judy and I traveled the world this year to meet with Lions we spread the word of my Beacon of Hope theme. We were impressed by the many ways Lions live out the We Serve motto. Thank you, Lions of the world, for shining a light on service this year and allowing me to be your international president.
