PONGSAK “PK” KEDSAWADEVONG
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Pongsak “PK” Kedsawadevong, from Muang District, Thailand, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 94th International Convention, held in Seattle, Washington, USA, July 4 to July 8, 2011.
Director Kedsawadevong is the owner of a real estate company.
A member of the Petchaburi Lions Club since 1995, he has held many offices within the association, including club president, zone chair, region chair, district leadership chair, multiple district convention chair, multiple district membership chair, Thailand Lions 50th Anniversary Grand Celebration chair, district honorary advisor and district twinning chair. He also chaired a project for two mobile medical service cars for eye and ear care to His Majesty the King and the Thai Encyclopedia for Youth Project.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including the 100% Club President Award, the Club Lion of the Year Award, the 100% District Governor Award, an Extension Award, five International President’s Certificates of Appreciation and two International President’s Awards. He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Kedsawadevong is active in numerous professional and community organizations. He was appointed by His Majesty the King to act as Associate Judge of the Juvenile and Family Court of Petchaburi Province. In the past, he served as chair of the King Mongkut Hospital Foundation and vice chair of the Foundation for the Blind under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King.
Director Kedsawadevong and his wife, Siriporn, have two children.
