MARK HINTZMANN
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Mark Hintzmann, from Watertown, Wisconsin, USA, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 94th International Convention, held in Seattle, Washington, USA July 4-8, 2011.
Director Hintzmann owns and operates a special needs school bus company.
A member of the Watertown Lions Club since 1992, he has held many offices within the association, including club president, zone chair, region chair, district membership chair, vice district governor, district governor and council chair. He also served as District Convention Chairperson, MD 27 Convention Chairperson, MD 27 Leadership Chairperson and Host Chairperson, 2010 USA/Canada Forum.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including Club Lion of the Year, three Governor Appreciation Awards, two International President’s Certificates of Appreciation, the International Leadership Award and two International President’s Awards. He is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Hintzmann is active in numerous professional and community organizations, including being a member of the Wisconsin School Bus Association.
Director Hintzmann and his wife, Jayne, also a Lion and a Melvin Jones Fellow, have a son.
