STEVEN TREMAROLI
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Steven Tremaroli, from Huntington, New York, USA, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 96th International Convention held in Hamburg, Germany July 5 through 9, 2013.Director Tremaroli is a retired chiropractor.
A member of the Melville Lions Club since 1981, he has held many offices within the association, including president, zone and region chairperson, district governor and council chairperson. He has also served as chairman for the Lions Eye Bank of Long Island and trustee of the New York State and Bermuda Lions Foundation, Inc.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards, including the Leadership Award, Life Membership Award, the Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service Award, eight International President’s Certificates of Appreciation and an International President’s Medal. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Tremaroli is active in numerous professional and community organizations, including the Cub Scouts.
Director Tremaroli and his wife, Marianne, also a Lion, have two sons and one grandson.
