INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Byung-Gi Kim, from Gwangju, Republic of Korea, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 96th International Convention held in Hamburg, Germany July 5 through 9, 2013.
A member of the Kwangju Lions Club since 1986, he has held many offices within the association, including district governor, council chairperson and multiple district GLT coordinator.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including the 100% District Governor Award, the Leadership Award, Life Membership Award, an International President’s Medal of Merit, and the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest honor the association bestows upon its members. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow.
Director Kim is married to Soon-Nam Jeong.
