LAWRENCE “LARRY” A. DICUS
INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR
Larry Dicus, from Whittier, California, USA, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 96th International Convention held in Hamburg, Germany July 5 through 9, 2013.
Director Dicus is a retired vice president of sales in the information technology field.
A member of the Whittier Host Lions Club since 1996, he has held many offices within the association, including president, district governor, council chairperson and foundation president of the Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit of Southern California.
In recognition of his service to the association, he has received numerous awards including the Founders Membership Growth Award, the Quick Start Gingko Award, the District Governor Excellence Award, the International President’s Leadership Medal, two International President’s Medals and five International President’s Certificates of Appreciation. He is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.
In addition to his Lions activities, Director Dicus is active in numerous professional and community organizations, including the Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital and the Lake Avenue Church Sanctuary Choir.
Director Dicus is married to Jane, and has two sons and three granddaughters
