International Service Programs Manager

This position is responsible for the development, administration and implementation of programs and partnerships in the following areas: Community/Cultural Services; Disaster Preparedness & Relief; Environment; and International Relations. Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Manage department operations.
  • Manage department projects relating to the development and implementation of International Service programs, seminars, and major events.
  • Prepare materials used in decision-making by board of directors; assist in preparation of board committee agendas.
  • Oversee Service Activity Report.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Area of study in Communications, International Business, languages or related fields preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience including 3 years of staff management experience.
  • Previous experience with events planning, budget and program development.
  • Technical skills to include proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
  • Domestic and International Travel required (approximately 15 days annually).

Editorial and PR Assistant

This position is responsible for:

  • Researching, writing and editing department and feature articles for LION Magazine
  • Proofing, copywriting, filing, photography, and answering telephones
  • Writing press releases
  • Creating and editing Web content
  • Writing PR articles
  • Responding to member inquiries
  • Developing PR resources such as sample press releases, brochures and matte releases

To qualify, candidate must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (with emphasis on Communications or related field)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, professional writing, PR and photography or related fields
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Proficiency in using MS Office

IT Services Manager

This position is responsible for managing various IT internal services including PMO, QA, Support Center Operations and Project portfolio. Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain project management methodology
  • Train and promote project management process
  • Establish necessary priorities and develop plans to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Management of staff

To qualify, candidate must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (area of study in Information Technology preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience including management of staff
  • Hands on Project Management and Quality Assurance experience
  • Proficiency in using MS Office
  • PMP Certification and other industry certifications preferred
